Gina Onweiler

After a 26-year career in law enforcement, Gina retired and was committed to continue her work in public service. Gina joined the NEXUS team as the executive director in 2016. She believes in providing people with the opportunity to live in a home that is safe, clean, and affordable. A place people are proud to call home. As a non-profit and staying true to its charitable purpose, Gina has developed partnerships with other non-profits and for-profits to provide assistance to residents who are living in NEXUS communities. Through these partnerships, NEXUS is able to provide aid to residents who are facing unique challenges, as well as seek opportunities to add value within communities. Gina is a member of The Kennedy Commission and SCANPH (Southern California Association of Non-Profit Housing).
